First appearing in April 2020, the Warhammer Commemorative Series has gradually become a more cohesive way for Games Workshop to release special editions and promotions. With their distinctive silver and black box artwork, the series continues to be very popular
Sister Tariana Palos
April 2020
The First we see of the new Commemorative Series Boxes.
Sister Tariana Palos is a brand-new, never-before-seen model based on a classic piece of Anna Steinbauer artwork that graced the cover of a previous edition of Codex: Adepta Sororitas. She is every bit the archetype of a Battle Sister, perfect for use in your army, perhaps as a Superior or a Celestian. She’s also festooned with holy detailing, making her an ideal painting project.
Chaplain Tarentus
October 2020
The second of the new Commemorative Series Boxes sees a new Warhammer Day Terminator Chaplain
Warhammer Day is coming and it’s bringing a brand-new hero for your Adeptus Astartes. Today we’re taking a closer look at this spiritual leader of the Space Marines and what he’ll bring to your army.
You’ll be able to add Terminator Chaplain Tarentus to your Space Marines army on Warhammer Day – Saturday the 31st of October.
Jakkob Bugmansson XI
December 2020
For the third Commemorative Series Boxes we see a fabulous Bugman Figure! In the Old World, Josef Bugman was renowned as the most legendary brewer of all time. His brewery became famous throughout the land, and beers such as Bugman’s XXXXXX and Trollbrew became the favorite drinks of beer connoisseurs. Now a new duardin has arisen in the Mortal Realms, carrying a barrel stamped both with Bugman’s runic logo and the XXXXXX mark of quality. Jakkob Bugmansson claims to be an ancestor of the legendary Josef – any who have sampled his ale would not doubt such a claim.* Wearing the armor of a Kharadron Overlord, the so-called Brewmaster-General walks the lands, bringing liquid refreshment to those in need.
Gorzag Gitstompa And Nikkit
December 2020
On Boxing Day, the Gorzag Gitstompa and Nikkit models became available in Warhammer stores around the globe. Based on some classic artwork from the game Gorkamorka, these unique sculpts have proved popular with all greenskin fans.
Fans of a certain vintage may notice that Gorzag has a lot in common with a miniature that was available as a Games Day exclusive model many (bad) moons ago.
Those who are sufficiently long in the teef may even remember that the Games Day Ork was based on this artwork from the classic Gorkamorka game.
Kamoteph The Crooked
May 2021
Exclusive Store Anniversary celebration.
Even by the standards of the ancient Necrons, Kamoteph has been knocking about for a while. This master of eldritch devices is hunched over due to the weight of his own body and tiny scarabs crawl across his carapace – in fact, it almost looks like he’s using his Staff of Light as a walking stick. Best of all, though, you can slot him right into your Necron army in place of your regular Cryptek.
Knight-Questor Sylas Beastbane
May 2021
Exclusive Store Anniversary celebration.
Even the Astral Templars respect the monster-killing prowess of Knight-Questor Sylas Beastbane, and with that monstrously heavy head in their hand it’s easy to see why. You can use this model to replace a Hero in any Stormcast Eternals army. He also comes with a unique warscroll for use in narrative and open play games, where you’ll quickly discover that few foes can stand up to the one-two punch of his Questor Axe-hammer.
Lord Hasmoteph The Resplendent
July 2021
Event special.
Lord Hasmoteph the Resplendent, is equipped with a resurrection orb and a staff of light, and you can use him to represent a Lord or even a mighty Overlord within your Necron dynasty of choice. He also has what we hope you’ll agree is a distinctly dapper diadem.
Primaris Sergeant Castus
September 2021
1 Million Online Customers Celebration
One million is a big number – a million points is enough for 181 Warlord Titans or 200,000 Gretchin* – and since we’ve now served one million online customers, we’re celebrating this momentous milestone with an exclusive Commemorative Series Citadel miniature. Say hello to Sergeant Castus.
This exclusive model will be added – free of charge – to any individual order with a checkout value of more than £150 (or the regional equivalent) on Games-Workshop.com until midnight on the 28th of October, so you’ve got just one month to get yours. He won’t be available anywhere else either, so don’t miss your chance.
Primaris Lieutenant With Storm Shield
October 2021
Warhammer Day 2021
Phwoar. This Primaris Lieutenant With Storm Shield will be joined by the Vampire Lord Anasta Malkorion, with both miniatures available for a strictly limited time starting on Warhammer Day itself, the 30th of October, until the 7th of November. Anasta Malkorion will be available in stores and online, but you’ll only be able to acquire our brave Lieutenant from Games-Workshop.com.
Vampire Lord Anasta Malkorion
October 2021
Warhammer Day 2021
Celebrate Warhammer Day with the Vampire Lord, Anasta Malkorion – available for a limited time only.
Elder vampires often continue to grow in power as the years tick by, their arcane and martial might growing steadily even as the paragons of mortal races wither and die. Many take up the mantle of a Vampire Lord, commanding legions of undead servants and scores of lesser Soulblight vampires in grand campaigns of conquest across the Mortal Realms. Such is the contempt they have for mortal life that a Vampire Lord will gladly pause in the middle of battle to drain a worthy foe of their blood before continuing the slaughter of their comrades.
Holga Clovenhorn
November 2021
Event Exclusive 2021
Holga Clovenhorn is actually the 2021 Warhammer Age of Sigmar event miniature and was originally going to make her global debut at Adepticon earlier this year. Well, we don’t want anyone to miss out due to the pandemic, so this commemorative model will be available to order through games-workshop.com from next weekend – with no pre-order window.
Da Red Gobbo And Bounca
December 2021
Bee-old, your glorious leada! Da Red Gobbo has returned – and Christmas will never be the same again.
A much-loved classic character from the days of Gorkamorka, Da Red Gobbo is back, and he’s here to steal Christmas, your heart, and anything else he can get his grubby mitts on. Reimagined with a festive makeover, Da Red Gobbo is ideal for fans of Orks, Christmas, revolutions or shiny stuff. Festooned with Christmassy gubbins, he’s also a cracking project for a painter – and maybe, just maybe, the ideal tree-topper for your celebrations this year…
Bawla And Burk
December 2021
This year’s special festive models are an orruk brute boss and his grot mate who have a special affinity for hunting skaven. Without further ado, here are Bawla and Burk.
While Bawla merrily hacks his way through skaven armies, Burk keeps the rat swarms out of his way. In fact, this grot is so cunning, we doubt that rat will ever catch him!
Primaris Company Champion
March 2022
Event Exclusive 2022
For Warhammer 40,000 comes the sword-swinging Primaris Company Champion. These formidable warriors of the Adeptus Astartes defend their chapter’s honour on the battlefield, armed with a devastating master-crafted power sword and skills honed over countless duels.
The Primaris Company Champion even has an entirely new datasheet for use in Legends games of Warhammer 40,000, loaded with three deadly Blade Stances. You can also use him in other games, perhaps as a particularly cool squad leader, or even the Emperor’s Champion.
Azrakh the Annihilator
August 2022
Warhammer+ Subscription Exclusive Miniature.
This brilliant miniature accompanies the upcoming Chaos releases, from the creepy, capering familiars that accompany Mibyllorr Darkfang to the intimidating presence of Azrakh the Annihilator, who has leapt straight off the cover of a classic issue of White Dwarf.
Bayard’s Revenge
October 2022
Warhammer Day 2022 Exclusive Miniature.
October’s glorious Warhammer Day celebration is almost upon us, and one of the stars of the show is a jaw-dropping commemorative miniature – Bayard’s Revenge. This dynamic diorama is only available during this year’s festivities which start on the 8th of October when it all kicks off.
We sculpted by Maxime Corbeil – who also designed last year’s awesome Emperor’s Champion.
Abhorrant Ghoul King
December 2022
Boxing Day is a tradition celebrated almost exclusively in Great Britain and some Commonwealth countries. For those from further afield, let us set the scene – it’s the day after Christmas, you’ve opened all your presents, there’s nothing good in the cave, and you’ve all gorged yourselves on too much flesh in a carnival of wanton slaughter. What is there to look forward to, except the dark chill of the grave?
Uh-oh. The Abhorrant Ghoul King’s crown is leaking out its malign influence again. Boxing Day is actually a time when families get together and bathe in the rotting ichor of the charnel floor, a blood-slicked frenzy of fangs and bones and snouts and claws and… Anyway, here’s the new Boxing Day miniature.

Goff Rocker
December 2022
The Goff Rocker Takes the Stage as This Year’s Commemorative Christmas Superstar
But what’s that sound? Is it the delicate jingle of Yuletide bells to usher in our winter festivities? No, my friends, it’s the ear-shredding, teeth-clenching guitar riffs of the only Christmas spirit worthy of ringing in a Warhammer holiday season.
Ladies and gentlemen, may we present… The Goff Rocker.
Fresh from whatever bizarre Christmas dimension last year’s Red Gobbo bounced out of, this year’s commemorative miniature is a phenomenal ode to a trio of musical Oddboyz from the early days of Warhammer 40,000 – appropriately for its 35th anniversary.
Torrk Lennsen
January 2023
Warhammer Store Anniversary Exclusive Miniature
Torrk Lennsen, Admiral of The First Fleet
There are no better airship commanders in the Mortal Realms than the Kharadron Overlords, and Arkanaut Admirals are the best of the best. Amongst these high-flying privateers, Torrk Lennsen is one of the most storied – a hard-bitten veteran of skyborne skirmishes throughout the Age of Sigmar.
Kâhl Yôht Grendok
January 2023
Warhammer Store Anniversary Exclusive Miniature
The Leagues of Votann are the latest faction to stake a claim on the galaxy in Warhammer 40,000. They wage war to protect the ancient machine-constructs that govern their societies, strip-mining whole planets to fuel their ventures. Yôht Grendok is a young up-and-comer of a Kâhl, the war-leaders of the Leagues.
Karlina Von Carstein
August 2023
Warhammer+ Subscription Exclusive Miniature.
Available to Warhammer+ subscribers who subscribed between the 25th of August 2023 and the 24th of August 2024.
Decked out in majestic fluted armour, Karlina von Carstein is a sinister Vampire Lord armed and ready to do battle. In one hand she holds an elegant falchion decorated with a thorny rose, and in another an empty chalice awaiting the lifeblood of her foes. This miniature has a choice of two heads – one helmet with a bat-wing motif, the other with an exaggerated aristocratic hairstyle befitting an immortal terror of the Mortal Realms – you don’t reach a few thousand years old without picking up some eccentric ideas about fashion.
Unbroken
August 2023
Warhammer+ Subscription Exclusive Miniature.
Veteran Kasrkin – Unbroken
Available to Warhammer+ subscribers who subscribed between the 25th of August 2023 and the 24th of August 2024.
Inspired by a classic piece of Karl Kopinski art, Unbroken presents a veteran Kasrkin standing at ease. The miniature faithfully depicts details from a classic piece of Warhammer artwork, including the curved power sabre, the rebreather and goggles worn high on his scarred head, and the inverted combat blade on his chest.
Erasmus Cartavolnus
March 2023
Warhammer Store Anniversary Exclusive Miniature.
The Ordo Malleus is dedicated to hunting and exterminating daemons wherever they appear, and Erasmus Cartavolnus has been doing it for over 300 years. Despite his advanced age, this zealous Inquisitor still strides the battlefield in search of daemonic quarry, and his knowledge of binding rituals is second to none.
Haggok Gutrippa Boss
March 2023
Warhammer Store Anniversary Exclusive Miniature.
It takes a wily creature to command the respect of a Kruleboyz Gutrippa mob, and Haggok is always on the lookout for his latest would-be usurper to pre-emptively run through.
With a (mostly) tame vulture keeping its beady eyes open for incoming threats, Haggok has time to relax a little and survey the battlefield, leaning casually on his skareshield. He fits in perfectly with your existing Gutrippa warbands, and as a unit leader, he has a more refined air than your average Kruleboy can muster.
The Commissar's Duty
June 2023
Warhammer Event Exclusive Miniature.
From the 41st Millennium comes The Commissar’s Duty. This vignette depicts an absolutely iconic scene – an Astra Militarum Commissar with his sword planted in the battlefield rubble, standing tall as he delivers the Emperor’s Justice. Is he aiming at a foe, or at a Guardsman who needs to be made into an example?
Tolgar Split-Eye
June 2023
Warhammer Event Exclusive Miniature.
Out of the Mortal Realms charges Tolgar Split-Eye, a frenzied Darkoath warrior sporting a natty eye-patch and swinging two huge axes. He also comes with an alternative head for building a nameless Darkoath Chieftain, which trades flowing locks for a fine beard.
Da Red Gobbo's Suprise
December 2023
This year, the debatably lovable little scamp is found at a chimney, poised to deliver a fizzing surprise to the lucky inhabitants. What a blast they’re about to have!
You can see from the stack of presents that the little blighter actually has some pretty fancy gifts, including a paintbrush and some paints – lots of explosives too. Clearly whoever is on the receiving end of this sparking surprise has been naughty.
Da Red Gobbo’s Surprise will be available to order as a commemorative miniature.
Da Grotmas Gitz
December 2023
Countless gifts have been stuffed into this mysterious mischief-maker’s sack – whatever they couldn’t fit into the squig’s gob, at least. Sadly, the bag’s integrity isn’t quite up to the usual high standard of Grot construction, and a critical loss of trinkets has occurred – someone better grab that Space Marine!
Whatever his true identity, the thief is accompanied by a gang of impish snotlings frolicking in a decidedly festive manner – or clinging on for dear life – including one risking its neck to make a snow angel under the trampling path of some rampaging squiggy feet.
The Steel Rook
April 2024
The first chance to purchase this mini was at Adepticon 2024 This is the Steel Rook, an alternate Arch-Knight for the Freeguild Command Corps. They continue the animal theme of the Arch-Knights, adding a third, bird option to the bear or fish knights you can build from the main Corps kit. They’re even accompanied by an actual rook, just in case the feathered fashion statements were too subtle.
The Hunter Strikes
April 2024
The first chance to purchase this mini was at Adepticon 2024. The Hunter Strikes is a Kroot Carnivore caught mid-pounce, striking a mighty two-handed blow with the blade on his rifle. It’s the perfect accompaniment to the Kroot Hunting Pack army set that was just announced at the Las Vegas Open – this really is shaping up to be the year of the Kroot…
Brakki of the Gilded Key
May 2024
Store Anniversary Figure Brakki. Armed with a blazing Latch-axe and wearing a finely crafted cloak of Magmadroth leather, Brakki of the Gilded Key is a stout exemplar of the Fyreslayers. Though unique in design, this miniature can be used to represent an Auric Runesmiter, a pious priest who can create tunnels that help his doughty allies strike at the heart of the enemy.
Invocation of the Elements
May 2024
Store Anniversary Figure. Ethereals are the spiritual leaders of the T’au Empire, and each embodies the wisdom and the unity of the Greater Good with every action they undertake. Clad in flowing robes and armed with an Honour Stave featuring the emblems of the four castes.
Killaboss Zagnog
June/July 2024
Made a brief appearance at Warhammer Fest 2023, but apparently, a mistake was made and they should not have been handed out.
Celebrating the new version of Age Of Sigmar
Available on the newer warhammer.com website from June 2024
We begin with Killaboss Zagnog, a leering Kruleboy lieutenant with a brutish black-iron Boss-hacka slung nonchalantly over his shoulder, and perhaps the finest skareshield yet seen on any orruk. This conniving hero is particularly useful for preventing other Kruleboyz from quitting the field after losing Battleshock tests – persuading them that it’s All Part of da Plan.
Mordern Tzane
June/July 2024
Made a brief appearance at Warhammer Fest 2023, but apparently, a mistake was made and they should not have been handed out.
Celebrating the new version of Age Of Sigmar
Available on the newer warhammer.com website from June 2024
He’s joined by an altogether more noble counterpart, the heroic Knight-Arcanum Mordern Tzane. This spell-slinging Stormcast Eternal is armed with a Valedictor’s staff and the magical power of Azyr itself.
This solo hero can be built with his left hand empty or conjuring a Blaze of the Heavens, a signature spell that deals D3 mortal wounds to an enemy unit.
Imperial Agents Inquisitor Ostromandeus
September 2024
Inquisitors such as Ostramandeus are tasked with investigating xenos plots, corruption, mutation, heresy, cults, rogue psykers and anything else that might destabilise the Imperium. They are aided by a motley and often sinister assortment of hand-picked agents taken from every corner of the galaxy and loyal only to their lord.
Celebrate another year of Warhammer+ with Ostramandeus, an Inquisitor who may or may not belong to the Ordo Hereticus – he’s not telling. His years of vicious combat are belied by an augmetic arm, and his love for righteous flame is evidenced by the smoldering ground he walks upon. He is accompanied by Stentor I-52 and a Vox Skull, which are characterful additions to an Inquisitorial Agents unit.
This Year Four miniature is only available to Warhammer+ subscribers who subscribe between the 25th of August 2024 and the 24th of August 2025. Qualifying Annual Subscribers will be able to claim this miniature on Monday 16th September 2024.
Marshal Ashfield And Squire Udo
September 2024
Freeguild Marshals who lead from the front like Marshall Ashfield are perhaps the most heroic of all. The respect they have won from their warriors is stronger than any shield, and Relic Envoys such as Squire Udo ensure their orders always get to where they are needed. When battlelines clash, their skill with sword, hammer and pistol swiftly becomes clear.
Celebrate another year of Warhammer+ with this pair of characterful leaders for your Cities of Sigmar army. This foot-slogging Marshal leads from the front, getting stuck in with his soldiers, while his companion Udo does his level best to ensure his orders are carried out to the letter. Marshal Ashfield has two options for his head, one helmeted and one bare, and he’s armed with duelling pistols and a sword.
This Year Four miniature is only available to Warhammer+ subscribers who subscribe between the 25th of August 2024 and the 24th of August 2025. Qualifying Annual Subscribers will be able to claim this miniature on Monday 16th September 2024.
Tzarketh Bane Of Law
October/November 2024
Warhammer Day Miniature 2024
This year’s Commemorative Miniature is the infernal Chaos Sorcerer Tzarketh, Bane of Law.
Decked out in furs, blackened metal armour, and all manner of profane trinkets, he wields a staff and carries a grimoire surging with raw Chaos magic, the perfect embodiment of a Chaos Sorcerer and the ideal accompaniment to a Warhammer day that’s all about the Dark Gods.
Da Red Gobbo's A-Bomb-Inable Snowman
November 2024
Every year as the nights draw close and snow starts to fall, the Red Gobbo dons his fur-lined jacket and sets off to cause havoc. It wouldn’t be a good Grotmas without a miniature immortalising his festive hijinks, and there’s a cracker coming this year.
Dubbed the A-bomb-inable Snowman – yeah, we know – da Red Gobbo of 2024 has teamed up with one of the Grotmas Gitz to honour the founding principles of the Gretchin Revolutionary Committee and share in his explosive wealth. There’s nothing quite so fun as a snowball fight… and if the snowballs go bang afterwards? All the better.
