Birmingham Dwarf In Plate Mail

This stout chap was available with selected purchases in 1985 when Games Workshop opened its store at Unit 37, West Court  Birmingham Shopping Centre.  He has Birmingham written around the top rim of his base. Later he was released as Captain Fendor and as Dwarf in Plate Armour.  Beautifully painted by Roy Scorer.

Manchester Rabbit Assassin

This playful character was available with selected purchases in 1987 when Games Workshop opened its store at Unit 162 Marsden Way Arndale centre in Manchester.  This figure may have been an adaptation of the Broo Mail order giveaway – or vice versa! No one really knows for sure.

Sheffield Samurai

Perhaps a nod to the famous steel industries of Sheffield? This proud samurai advances with his katana and was available with selected purchases in 1987 when Games Workshop opened its store at 95 The Moor shopping centre in Sheffield.  The word Sheffield is embossed onto the base.

Nottingham Robin Hood Dwarf

Who else to represent Nottingham? A cheeky vertically challenged version of the famous Robin Hood.  Again this was available with selected purchases in the newly opened Games Workshop premises on the 10th October 1982 at 41a Broad Walk Broadmarsh Shopping Centre Nottingham.  The word Nottingham is embossed onto the base.

Chester Dwarf Santa

This festive dwarf was given away at the Chester store opening at 57 Watergate Street Chester in December 1985.  The tab is marked ‘Merry Xmas’
